The iconic star, aged 89, had been receiving treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai for several days before his demise. Messages of condolence poured in from across the nation — from the Prime Minister, President, film fraternity, and sports personalities — all honouring the man fondly remembered as Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’.
